THE COMPUTER SYSTEM AND HOW IT PROCESS DATA A computer system is a group of machines, or hardware that accepts data, process it, and display information. The main reason for using computer system is to process data quickly and efficiently so that the information obtained is timely, meaningful, and accurate. The computer case is a very important part of the computer. It protects all of the electronic components inside and provides adequate ventilation to prevent overheating. The case also should be capable of allowing you to expand your hardware if the need arises. Some cases only have 5 or 6 expansion bays. This may not be enough if you plan to add several drives.
